PROFILE | Santosha Birth & Wellness

Industry: Personal Wellness
Owner(s): Jaime Fleres Mizejewski
Location: Based in Ashville, NC
Site Purpose: E-Commerce & Service Descriptions
Product/Service: Hand-crafted herbal tinctures

Founded in 2013, Santosha Birth and Wellness is built on the belief that birthing women are powerful, beautiful, and possess an inner guidance that knows what’s needed to gestate, birth and care for their babies. While many of our offerings are catered to women in the childbearing season, we also recognize that as women, we birth many creations in our lifetimes. Santosha supports women in all life phases to live in connection to their vibrant, wise, and well selves.

This build was a collaboration of efforts between myself and owner, Jaime. Her experience in writing copy and supply of supporting images allowed for easy input. Not only were supporting graphics created, but Santosha Mama hired Studio Seamonster to shoot all her new product photography. The overall feel is clean and natural, yet modern.

PROFILE | 368art

Industry: Art
Owner(s): Bob Seaman
Location: Based out of Keene, NH USA
Site Purpose: Portfolio/Informative
Product/Service: Illustration, Painting, Art Education

The essence of the 368art site is that of walking through an art gallery. Simple colors, creatively organized and full of visual appeal with Bob's artwork used in various locations, other than the intended gallery page. A feature that I enjoy implementing for portfolio-type sites is the "cover page". It is essentially the front door of a building. You must "knock" to come inside. Upon visiting the 368art site, you are greeted with a curious pencil drawing of Bob's that has a stout frog giving the message to leap forward; keep going, or come in!

I also maintain the site as if it were a physical gallery in a brick and mortar location. I rotate the supporting artwork used throughout the site as do gallery keeper's to keep intrigue and interest in those that are already familiar with the site. Artwork is added and updated to their respective gallery pages as it is provided to me, by the client.

The scheme for the site was strictly taken from the elements and colors of the 368art logo, created by Studio Seamonster. Tying it all together, neatly, is key!
